    Te Ruunanga o Toa Rangatira is a vibrant iwi organisation that provides a range of commercial and not-for-profit services to contribute to and enhance the wellbeing of our iwi members, and the wider Porirua and Wellington communities.

    As the HR Specialist Organisational Development, you will ensure high performance organisational outcomes through the application of top-quality HR Processes. With the strength of your convictions, you will back yourself and your team in a changing environment.

    Key responsibilities of the role include the development and delivery of the Organisational Development work plan and the delivery of full professional activities. This involves the maintenance of all operational elements of the portfolio, including incremental service improvements, legal changes and data management. As the champion of organisational development, other tasks will challenge you to spearhead an effective talent management system and succession planning framework for Te Ruunanga.

    Most importantly, you will provide end-to-end [design, implementation and operational delivery] services across the Organisational Development portfolio, to contribute to the prosperity of our kaimahi and whanau of Ngaati Toa.

    To be successful you will have:
    • Bachelor’s degree or experiential equivalent
    • Te Reo Proficiency: Beginner
    • Full Driver’s License
    • Experience in the implementation of leading-edge HR strategy and methodologies
    • Experience in the design or establishment of a similar HR Portfolio
    • Experience participating in a multi discipline team
    • MS Office Proficiency
    • IT Systems Proficiency

    This role is a fixed term full time role for 12 months.
